Great course, learned so much!

I just completed the Basic RiderCourse and it was fantastic! The instructors were super knowledgeable and made learning fun. I feel so much more confident on my bike now. I'm already planning to take the Advanced RiderCourse next season. Definitely recommend this to everyone wanting to ride safely!

Good course, slow shipping for gear

I took the 3-Wheel Basic RiderCourse and it was very thorough, which I appreciated. The instructors were patient and helpful, even with my silly questions. However, I ordered the MSF Guide to Group Riding at the same time, and it took about 8 days to arrive, which felt a bit slow. The guide itself is useful though. Overall, a good experience, but they could speed up the merchandise shipping.

Smooth experience with MSF

Needed to get my motorcycle license so I signed up for the Basic RiderCourse. Everything went pretty smoothly. The online part was easy to do at home, and the actual riding class was a good time. The instructors were cool and showed us a lot. Got my certificate with no fuss. Felt good about the whole process.

Detailed review of AdventureBike RiderCourse

I signed up for the AdventureBike RiderCourse last month. The online registration process was straightforward, and I received a confirmation email almost immediately with all the necessary details, including what gear to bring. The course itself was well-structured, starting with classroom instruction and then moving to practical exercises. The instructors were professional and provided excellent feedback. My only minor issue was finding the exact meeting spot on the first day, as the directions could have been a bit clearer on the website. The quality of the training bikes they provided was top-notch, and the practice area was well-maintained. After completing it, I feel much more prepared for off-road riding. They even sent a completion certificate within a week. Very solid program overall.

If I take the eCourse, how long do I have to finish it? Like, can I pause and come back to it next week?

L Luke L. 1 week ago
You can totally pause it. It saves your progress, I did mine over a few evenings.

Yeah, it's self-paced. You don't have to do it all at once, which is nice.

Thinking of taking the Basic RiderCourse, but I don't have a helmet or gloves yet. Do they provide gear or do I need to buy it all beforehand?

A Amanda Mitchell 2 weeks ago
They usually provide the motorcycle for the course, but you gotta bring your own helmet, eye protection, gloves, sturdy long pants, and ankle-covering boots. Don't forget long sleeves too!

S Susan Smith 1 week ago
Nah, you gotta have your own stuff. Helmet, gloves, boots, all that. They lend you the bike for the class though.

I'm in Oregon, and I see Team Oregon courses, but also MSF. Is there much of a difference for getting licensed?

O Olivia Allen 1 month ago
Team Oregon is basically the state's version of MSF, they're both legit for getting your endorsement here. Sometimes Team Oregon has slightly different scheduling or locations.

For licensing in Oregon, either one works. MSF is more national, Team Oregon is specific to the state, but the content is really similar from what I hear.

Hey, wondering about discounts. I'm active duty military, is there a special rate for the Basic RiderCourse?

A Ashley Parker 2 weeks ago
Yeah, they definitely have something for military. I used a voucher for my course last year, just had to apply through my base's education office first.

I think so, my buddy got his entire course reimbursed through a military program. Check their site or ask your local training coordinator, it's not like a regular promo code though.
